BIOGRAPHY

Born in Pampano Beach, FL, and native to South Carolina, Austin Schulz moved to Charleston
in August 2004 and currently enjoys living in Mount Pleasant, SC.

Photographer, graphic designer, and programmer by trade for more than a decade has provided the ability
to combine an array of different media in recent works and extend explorations of art and innovation.

Ansel Adams, Edward Weston, Henri-Cartier Bresson, Richard Avedon, Roberto Edwards and numerous
other photographers teach perception. Esher, Picasso, Dali, and a host of other painters are
influential in the expansion of mind, art and technique from technical to abstract and surreal.

Photography has become a foundation of Austin's artwork, with experience in film developing,
printmaking, screen printing, and current digital printing techniques. This has led to a development
of proprietary methods to color proof digital and reproduction services while consulting for local
fine artists for over three years.

Austin is a conceptual artist whose paintings provoke the viewers to look deeper into their own life.
Dripping pure color onto panels, painting over hand sketched drawings and relaying messages in mixed
media artwork all contribute to demand by collectors.

Recent ventures include combining photography, art, and graphic design to create websites that have
a unique aesthetic, while considering the needs of proprietors and viewers.
